In celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children's Day 2022 Yarn visited Dalaigur, a pre-school in NSW that our community partner Gunawirra supports. We brought paints, paper and plain t-shirts, and encouraged the kids to paint the future they dreamed of, make a mess and have fun. Using their artworks we created a unique collection that speaks to the power, freedom and joy of being raised with strong cultural connections.

$2 from each sale of these tees go directly to Gunawirra to help fund their essential programs. Gunawirra is a community-led organisation that works closely with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and children to help them reach their full potential. Their work helps to build capacity and confidence in young people to guide them towards healing, resilience and self-reliance by strengthening cultural identity and knowledge. You can learn more about Gunawirra’s important programs .
